Lee and Joanne are amazing instructors! I’ve learned so much in this medical assisting class. The weekend schedule is perfect for anyone with a family or busy weekday responsibilities because you can do the coursework during the week and attend labs on Saturdays. They are patient, supportive, and truly want their students to succeed. If I didn’t understand something, they would take the time to show me again until I got it. I highly recommend this program and these professors to anyone considering medical assisting! Read less

I am currently enrolled in the Medical Assistant program, and I’m so glad I chose this school for my training. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and have helped me feel confident—especially during moments when I needed it most. The hands-on lab every Saturday has been incredibly valuable and has prepared me to handle real-life clinical skills with confidence. I also really appreciate the small class sizes, which allow for one-on-one help and a more personal learning experience. Frequently Asked Questions

We don't accept financial aid, but we have some pretty great reasons why! The founder of our school, Dr. Ince, wanted to create an opportunity for those who desire to enter the field. He believed that students deserve not only a great education but also an affordable and convenient option. Rather than making our school more expensive in order to allow for financial assistance, Dr. Ince chose to keep tuition affordable, giving our students the opportunity to graduate with little to no student loan debt. If none of our payment plan options work for you, please give us a call. We are more than happy to customize a plan!

Yes, you can pay by check. Checks must be sent two weeks before your start date, and you must call our admissions team to provide a tracking number. They should be addressed to Zollege Management Inc., 7701 N. Lamar Blvd, Suite 300, Austin, TX 78752.

The time it takes to become a Medical Assistant varies between schools and certification programs. Our curriculum is 18-weeks long and fully prepares students to start working as a medical assistant.

New Braunfels Medical Assistant School is a hands-on learning program. We take a different approach from traditional education. Our classes take place in a medical office rather than a classroom, with a hands-on component to every part of our course. Classes begin with a lecture and discussion, but most of the class time is spent in labs learning the essential techniques of medical assisting. When our students graduate and begin their career, they feel at home in a medical office.

As a newly hired Medical Assistant, your employer will expect you to know the basic skills of medical assisting. Those fundamental skills are exactly what we focus on teaching our students. Our custom-designed curriculum sets students up for success by covering precisely what doctors will expect them to know.

When you graduate from any medical assisting school you receive a certificate of completion. Many students ask if they can expect to make a higher starting salary if they attend a longer program. The starting salary for a Medical Assistant does not depend on how long you spent in school or how much you paid for your schooling.

Medical Assistants perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to assisting the doctor, carrying out clinical tasks, and completing administrative work.

Medical assistants may perform many different clinical duties including taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood. Administrative tasks are equally important in the medical assisting field; medical assistants are also in charge of scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, working with insurance files, and billing.

Assistants are responsible for making patients feel at ease while also preparing them for treatment. During medical visits, assistants often work alongside the doctor.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), employment of medical assistants is projected to grow 12 percent from 2024 to 2034, much faster than the average for all occupations. For more information, please visit the Bureau of Labor Statistics website.
